    The concept of "origin" has become crucial not only for customs bureaucracy, but also as far as consumer safeguard is concerned. Consumers have the right as well as the necessity to know the country of origin of a product. Exclusive use and national or international registration are fundamental. "Country of origin" is a complex as much as important concept: knowing the country in which the goods were produced is essential not only to correctly pay taxes, but also not to incur sanctions due to the inobservance of import/export regulation.

Such criticalities can be dealt with through both traditional or innovative payment methods and credit insurance; it is also crucial to define all the terms of sale, in order to optimize the cost/benefit ratio and minimize the risk of each internationa transaction. 
    The course has the aim of providing the knowledge needed to succesfully and safely reach foreign markets through an operations-centered approach.
