    The concept of "origin" has become crucial not only for customs bureaucracy, but also as far as consumer safeguard is concerned. Consumers have the right as well as the necessity to know the country of origin of a product. Exclusive use and national or international registration are fundamental. "Country of origin" is a complex as much as important concept: knowing the country in which the goods were produced is essential not only to correctly pay taxes, but also not to incur sanctions due to the inobservance of import/export regulation.
